Detailed Review

This is an old game from the earliest smartphones. There are instructions as you go in the game, so it would be easy for a player of any level to play. There are a lot of encouraging messages as you succeed in the early stages of the game.

The objective of Bejeweled Classic is to swap adjacent gems on a game board to create lines of three or more identical gems. When a line of gems is created, they disappear, and the remaining gems fall into the empty spaces, allowing new gems to drop from the top of the board. The game is won by scoring as many points as possible within a set amount of time or moves. To reach for more points, try to match four jewels. When you clear a screen, you advance to a new one.

In addition to the standard gameplay, Bejeweled Classic includes power-ups that can be earned by matching special gem combinations. These power-ups can help players clear gems more quickly and score more points.

This game can really keep your focus, as you constantly scan for matches.

Bejeweled Classic features different game modes, including Classic mode, where players have unlimited time to play, and Action mode, where players must clear a certain number of gems within a set time limit. The game also has a Zen mode, which has no time limit or scorekeeping, making it a relaxing experience for players.

The music in the game feels a bit intense and adds excitement and a bit of adrenaline to the game.

If your grandmother likes Bejeweled, you could help her install Candy Crush. Candy Crush is based on the original Bejeweled game, but you swap candy instead of jewels.
